Women Cast In “Ghostbusters”, Looks Like It’s Going To Be Radical!

Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, Chris Hemsworth, Kristen Wiig and Kate McKinnon lead in the remake of the comic blockbuster Ghostbusters, 1984.

Sigourney Weaver makes an appearance in the new film as she also appeared in the first. The first starred Saturday Night Live and Second City Television alumni; Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and Rick Moranis.

It seems to be a great moment for women in comedy.

Leslie Jones shamed some racist trolls that were abusive on Twitter and got an astounding amount of support from her fellow cast-mates as well as Hollywood’s diverse team of women.
