Marvel’s “Doctor Strange” Adds Depth To The Marvel Universe

Benedict Cumberbatch seemingly never fails with his intelligent swagger, one can see why he has so many adoring fans. The Oscar, BAFTA, and Golden Globe nominee (The Imitation Game 2014) Mr Cumberbatch plays a once gifted neurosurgeon Dr Stephen Strange in quest of healing however is drawn into another realm of mysticism and power. Doctor Strange is set in Greenwich Village, Manhattan. Chiwetel Ejiofor as the serious sorcerer Mordo is a genuine pleasure as well as Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer.
The character of Doctor Strange is set to be part of Marvel installations Avengers: Infinity War and Thor: Ragnarok.

Mads Mikkelson appears to be the bad guy flavour of 2016, which is quite fine, he does a good job at it playing Kaecilius. I love how these Marvel films have action start with comic banter, it just fills that hunger one has to be entertained in as many ways as one can. Also the special effects and mysticism of this Marvel jewel make it more psychedelic than sci-fi, which is really cool and welcome. Tilda Swinton, there can’t be enough said about how great she is, her take on the Ancient One is marvelous. Benedict Wong is charming as Wong. We just loved this film. We won’t give any spoilers, just a “Bravo” and let you go to the cinema and be the judge. Doctor Strange has now surpassed Iron Man in worldwide box office intake.
