With all the rage of Pokémon Go and the eternal popularity of Pokémon in general, Hashtag Burgers in Sydney is serving at their pop-up restaurants Down N’ Out Burgers a limited edition of Pokémon Burgers inspired by Pikachu, Bulbasaur & Charmander. Owner Ben Kagen and chef Sebastian Sens (Mr Crackle) began their pop-ups as a tribute to popular American chain, In-N-Out Burger. Looks like they’re not messing about!
Apparently Down N’ Out Burgers are Team Mystic..
The Pokémon Burgers went on sale on August 23rd at 5:00 PM and are expected to run for a total of 2 weeks. No take out is available and only one burger a person is allowed to be ordered.
They’ve also got victuals like the Mac N’ Cheeseburger on offer.
Triple cheese and truffle mac with crispy bacon bits, crunchy breadcrumbs, fresh spinach and their Wagyu beef patty.
Have to admit, that looks pretty darn tasty! This is also on for a limited time only.
Wow! The Jumbo Chick’N Burger has crispy bacon and homemade slaw on Southern Fried Chicken….👍🏾
For the vegetarian (not the vegans though) there is the Vego Burger who’s patty can also be changed for a deep fried cheese patty…Sounds almost as lethal as the Double Down!
One more looking insanely appetising, The Bruffle Burger with ingredients listed as:
Wagyu Beef Patty
Truffle Duxelle Aioli
Black and White Woodear
Havarti and American Cheese
Streaky American Bacon
Now that’s good eats!
The pop-ups are in the Sydney Central Business District; CBD so it should a good spot to stop for lunch…bon appetit!
