In her recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Khloé Kardashian discusses her marriage woes (with Lamar Odom) sending her out of the home to the gym. The marriage is described as toxic and dark and so began a weight loss journey that was originally conceived to create alone time. Khloé Kardashian had made her mind up that the extra weight was just not going to go away so when she saw results from the workout, she was pleasantly surprised. Then followed healthy living such as diet changes, etc.
What is really amazing about this recent photo shoot by Zoey Grossman with styling by Monica Rose and assistant Janelle Miller and makeup by Mary Phillips of Something Artists is that the makeup is there, the styling as well, but it’s a pared down silhouette. It’s definitely not built on insecurity, celebrating the individuality, there’s no distorting contour that distracts from natural beauty, there’s no excess highlighting there’s no over-lining of the lips. 2016 is just such a groovy time for makeup because style dictates that one just backs up, assesses the elements that we are gifted and just appreciate.
I would say that in this shoot, Khloé Kardashian is just looking her most beautiful.
